Karratha

Overview

Karratha is the largest shopping centre in the north west Pilbara region of Western Australia. The centre boasts a strong national brand representation and hosts many of the community services within the local area. As the dominant shopping precinct within the region, the centre offers seven day trade with deregulated hours. It serves the local market as a food and convenience shopping centre, being the retail mecca and meeting place of Karratha. The main trade area consists of approximately 24,000 permanent residents. In addition, there is a high transient population base which relates to the volume of industrial projects conducted in this part of the State.
